Andy Kennedy has been busy. He beat out Gregg Marshall and Wichita State to secure a verbal commitment from three-star guard Serrel Smith last week and now he’s got him another one after junior college shooting guard Brian Halums pledged his verbal commitment to Kennedy Thursday night.
The 6’5, 185-pound shooting guard from Itawamba Community College chose the Rebels over offers from Arkansas Little-Rock, Cal-State Bakersfield, FGCU, Louisiana Monroe, Murray State, UT-Martin, UTEP, and interest from Iowa State and LSU. The Fulton, Miss. native lead the Indians in points per game (17.3), rebounds per game (7.5), three-point percentage (44.
