Questions are swirling around the Ole Miss football program, and the biggest recruiting question was answered negatively last week when one of the biggest recruits in Mississippi history chose to leave his home state and instead committed to Florida State.
Cam Akers, the five-star running back from Clinton (Miss.) High, put on quite the show at the Mississippi Sports Hall of Fame in Jackson. In a room full of Mississippi reporters, full of Mississippi natives, in the capital city of the state and in its Sports Hall of Fame no less, Akers decided to play his college football in Florida.
