The SEC schedule is a bit thin this week but there is no shortage of story lines for this week’s Five Step Drop.
1. Is Les Miles coaching for his job? Really?
I’ve been critical of LSU’s inability to develop a quarterback and to be more creative on offense. Coach Les Miles and offensive coordinator Cam Cameron are paid a lot of money to make sure that side of the ball is good enough to compete for a conference championship. It hasn’t been for a while. In the past two weeks, Alabama and Arkansas basically shut down Leonard Fournette and the running game (123 rushing yards total in the two games) and LSU simply had no Plan B.
