Amassing 1,000 yards in his senior season put Jordan Wilkins in the record books for Ole Miss football — only the fifth player ever to do so.
And now he’ll join the ranks of the best in the world as a member of the Indianapolis Colts.
Wilkins was selected with pick No. 169 (nice) in the fifth round of the NFL draft by the Colts. He trotted for 1,011 yards in 2017 for the Rebels with nine touchdowns, finishing with more than 1700 yards in his college career.
Rebel fans will remember Wilkins for his tough running style, rarely willing to dodge contact and sometimes dishing out more punishment than was taken.
