Hunter Yurachek's Ole Miss-Texas A&M ranking logic infuriated the Aggies fans

Texas A&M's fanbase was perhaps one of the most disappointed ones, besides Notre Dame, when the final CFP rankings came out yesterday.

The sting hit them the hardest as they expected the committee to drop Ole Miss a spot or two and give them the higher ranking because of their better strength of schedule.

CFP committee chair Hunter Yurachek said that was not happening, and explained the logic behind it while at it, even though most considered it a non-answer.

"Yeah, that just really stood pat. Those teams 5 through 8, none of whom played this weekend in any type of championship game scenario, we didn't feel like we had anything from the championship games that were played that impacted the standing of Ole Miss versus Texas A&M," Yurachek asserted in his media appearance post-final CFP rankings reveal.
