Last Thursday, Mississippi coach Hugh Freeze resigned amid an NCAA investigation and after what AD Ross Bjork called a “concerning pattern of behavior.” The team is going through a whirlwind of emotions and that looks to include its former coach.
“Coach Freeze has shared his remorse with me,” Michael Catt, the senior pastor of Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Ga., told GN. “I’ve been in contact with him almost daily since last Thursday.”
Catt met Freeze six years ago and has been a friend and mentor since.
