“The facts are always more important than speed or our public response” in Ole Miss’ investigation into Laremy Tunsil’s allegations, Rebels coach Hugh Freeze said Thursday.
Tunsil said last Thursday, shortly after he was selected with the 13th pick in the first round of the NFL draft, that he had received money from a coach while at Ole Miss. Freeze had been mum on the subject until the SEC West coaches’ spring teleconference.
“Obviously since draft night, we’ve had some adversity around our place,” Freeze said. “I wanted to address that I know our administration is aggressively working to reach a resolution on the matters involving Laremy.
