The true freshman played in one game as a Rebel, appearing in the 59-31 loss to Alabama, a game where he threw a 28-yard touchdown pass and rushed two times for 10 yards.
Tisdale was a four-star dual-threat quarterback out of Allen, Texas, and joined fellow Allen High School alumni Jaylon Jones in Oxford.
“I just found out today. Grant’s my guy so I wish him nothing but the best,” Jones said on Tuesday. “Everything happens for a reason. I support what he did and it is what it is. I just know great things are going to come his way.
