This weekend was the deadline for NFL teams to cut their rosters down to the final 53 players they will take into the regular season, and after the dust settles, four first-year players from Ole Miss made the cut. These four players gives the Rebels a total of 28 players on active NFL rosters.
- All four Rebels who made rosters were drafted and all four are from the offensive side of the ball, which shouldn’t surprise you in hindsight.
- Patriots cut defensive back Ken Webster, but the Stockbridge, Ga. native was picked up the following day by the Miami Dolphins.
