Relationships — both in the family and out — helped three-star cornerback Jaylin Williams decide to attend Ole Miss. Williams, who plays high school ball in the Memphis area, committed to the Rebels on Friday.
“I’m originally from Mississippi and it’s home,” Williams told GN. “One of the big parts is my grandparents love to come watch me play and they still live in Mississippi, so that was a big deal.”
That’s one reason Williams (5 feet 11, 170 pounds), from Germantown (Tenn.) High, in the Memphis suburbs, chose the Rebels over Indiana, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt and Wake Forest, among others.
