Former Ole Miss tight end Evan Engram went 23rd overall in the 2017 NFL draft to the New York Giants and he couldn’t be happier.
Engram, who is from Powder Springs, Ga., in the Atlanta suburbs, told Mike Francesa of WFAN in New York it was his dream to play for the Giants. A few years ago, Engram tripped to the Big Apple, and he said he couldn’t believe it when his name was called.
“It’s weird, it’s crazy and unbelievable that it’s actually happening,” Engram said. “I’ve always said I’d love to play ball at the next level for the Giants.
