I have been in Jackson most of the day, so I’m just getting caught up on the draft news.
I see that Sikes Orvis went in the 17th round to the White Sox, Brady Bramlett in the 22nd to the A’s and Christian Trent in the 24th to the Brewers.
It would be a huge launching point for Ole Miss if Bramlett and Trent both return to give the Rebels two-thirds of their weekend rotation back for 2016.
Drafted where they were they won’t receive astronomical signing bonuses.
Clearly both could better themselves by returning and pitching well next season.
