Ole Miss defensive end Marquis Haynes has been one of the SEC’s top pass rushers the past two years, and it’s unlikely that will change in 2016.
Respected NFL Media draft analyst Lance Zierlein believes Haynes will continue to consistently reach the quarterback again in his junior season this fall.
“With the speed and flexibility to consistently bend the edge as a pass rusher, Haynes will continue to torment SEC tackles,” Zierlein wrote.
Haynes has finished with sack totals of 7.5 and 10 in each of his previous two seasons with the Rebels. Though he has never missed a game during his Ole Miss career, Haynes is expected to see more an increase in playing time after previously having to competing with a deep defensive front as a young player.
