Mike Detillier doesn’t believe Senquez Golson has played his last football game, but if by some quirk of fortune he has, well, there’s nothing Golson can do to lower his status in the eyes of Ole Miss fans.
“If he doesn’t ever play another play again he’s in Ole Miss lore forever. He sealed the deal against Alabama. That tells me a lot about him. You look at that play. He just didn’t knock the ball down. He made it, and he did that all year long, time and time again.”
Detillier, a South Louisiana-based draft analyst, like many others believes Golson will go in the third round.
