DE kicked out at Syracuse is transferring to Ole Miss

Former Syracuse defensive end Qaadir Sheppard announced via his Instagram account Friday night that he was transferring to Ole Miss.

Sheppard played in nine games as a true freshman for the Orange in 2015, finishing with one tackle and an interception. Sheppard (6 feet 3, 247 pounds) was a three-star outside linebacker in the 2015 recruiting cycle and chose the Orange over UCF. He gained about 25 pounds in his one year at Syracuse, moved to defensive end and supposedly has an upside as a pass rusher.

But the move does come with some controversy attached. Sheppard was dismissed in early February for what was termed a violation of team rules.
