Though there is not yet a confirmed case within Lafayette County, the severity of this virus has reached the state of Mississippi, and the ramifications have been felt nationwide.
Schools around the country have closed indefinitely, many professional and amateur sports leagues are suspended until further notice, and President Trump has issued extreme preventative measures to keep the Coronavirus contained as best possible.
