The NCAA is set to vote this month on legislation proposed by the SEC to ban college coaches from “guest coaching” at camps like the ones Michigan’s Jim Harbaugh and Ohio State’s Urban Meyer are scheduled to attend. If the NCAA fails to act on this, SEC commissioner Greg Sankey has said the league’s rule will be repealed and that SEC coaches will be allowed to engage in this practice.
Sankey told CBSSports.com earlier this year that the SEC would “certainly engage in that behavior more actively — probably more effectively than others.
