Ole Miss added a high-level player back into its mix with Laremy Tunsil last week.
Now Auburn could a difference-maker to its defense when the Rebels visit Saturday in sophomore end Carl Lawson.
As Ole Miss has with Tunsil, the Tigers are eagerly awaiting Lawson’s arrival. He was a freshman All-American in 2013 but missed last season with a knee injury. He played in Auburn’s season opener but injured his hip and hasn’t played since.
Sounds like rust and conditioning could be issues. Auburn coach Gus Malzahn has stopped short of saying Lawson will definitely play, but his teammates are excited by the possibility of Lawson being available.
