Athlon projects the Rebels No. 10 nationally, but No. 3 in the SEC West behind Alabama, which it projects No. 1 nationally and LSU, which is projects No. 9.
Chad Kelly is your first-team All-SEC quarterback, Athlon says. I don’t know what the voting was on that, but it shouldn’t have been close.
Ole Miss also gained preseason All-SEC mention with Damore’ea Stringfellow, Marquis Haynes and Tony Conner on the second team, Javon Patterson and Gary Wunderlich – as a punter — on the third team.
