Former Ole Miss quarterback Chad Kelly faces numerous questions entering the 2017 NFL draft. Kelly’s senior season was cut short by a knee injury, and he wasn’t allowed to participate in February’s NFL Scouting Combine for off-field issues.
On Tuesday, his Pro Day throwing session ended early due to a wrist injury. Kelly aggravated a sprained throwing wrist that he said he initially hurt about a week ago while training.
According to NFL Network’s Bucky Brooks, it’s becoming more likely that Kelly will go undrafted.
“It continues to really make it difficult to make a strong case for him to be a draftable guy late in the draft,” Brooks said on Path to the Draft.
