A look at all the action from the eighth Saturday of the season in the SEC.
Alabama 45, Tennessee 7
The host Tide (8-0 overall, 5-0 in SEC) rolled to its 11th consecutive victory over the Vols (3-4, 0-4) with a dominating performance. The Tide had 35 first downs, the Vols just seven. Alabama led 7-0 after one quarter, then put the game away with two second-quarter TDs for a 21-0 halftime lead. Tennessee’s offense isn’t good enough to rally from 21 down against the Tide. Alabama outgained UT 604-108, and Tennessee’s only score came on a 97-yard interception return by linebacker Daniel Bituli in the third quarter.
