I haven’t paid much attention to New Mexico State because it appears even New Mexico State hasn’t paid much attention in a long time.
This is the place to insert the line about respect for all opponents at all times. That’s true. I can afford to disregard the Aggies. If they spring a monumental upset when Sunday comes I’ll just be wrong. There’s precedent for that, and I’ll get over it. That type of loss would have a far more lasting effect for Ole Miss.
Like all of you reading this, and like most New Mexico State fans I suppose, I do not expect that to happen.
