This game already looks a lot like the 2009 matchup, when Alabama went into Jordan-Hare Stadium with a dream season in progress. Auburn, on the other hand, was having a less-than-stellar season. The Tigers battled the Crimson Tide into the fourth quarter, when ‘Bama was able to get a touchdown to pull away for good. That likely won’t be the case this season because Auburn’s offense is mediocre, especially at quarterback. Plus, Alabama’s defensive front is looking like the one it had in that ’09 season, with Marcell Dareus and crew.
