Big crootin news has Ole Miss coaches tweeting out fishing metaphor, y'all. Tre Nixon, a four-star burner of a wide receiver, confirmed his commitment to the Rebels on Monday following an official visit to Oxford.
Nixon, who was named the 2015 Florida Class 7A Player of the Year after a 1,224-yard, 18-touchdown senior season, was among six prospects Hugh Freeze's staff hosted over the weekend. This comes a few days after he narrowed his finalists to a top three of Ole Miss, Auburn and Georgia. There's been no word yet whether he still plans to take his official to Auburn this weekend.
