Ole Miss added their first 2023 commitment on Sunday, only days after defeating Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl. This win marked the Rebels first ever 10-win regular season.
Suntarine Perkins is the No. 1 recruit in the state of Mississippi and had numerous other offers, including Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, South Carolina and Texas A&M among others.
Despite numerous offers, Perkins told the Clarion-Ledger earlier this year that he really only had a top two. The Rebels have been interested for awhile, and offered the junior linebacker in August of 2020.
