Matt Luke has been one of if not Hugh Freeze’s best recruiter since arriving in Oxford back in 2012 after a stint with former Ole Miss coach David Cutcliffe at Duke. And now he’s proven his worth as a recruiter once again in a head-to-head battle with his former boss by landing a commitment from three-star offensive lineman Blaine Scott.
Scott, a three-star product from the Buckeye State was hard to read down the stretch of his recruitment as most recruiting pundits believed he would head to Durham to join Luke’s former boss and become a Blue Devil.
