The Ole Miss defense added a linebacker on Sunday with the commitment of Seminary’s Austin Keys. And now on Monday, new linebackers coach Jeff Koonz is back at it again. This time, he is adding another linebacker from the junior college ranks.
Three-star outside linebacker Daylen Gill from Jones County Junior College has verbally committed to the Rebels after receiving an offer last week. Gill is the fourth commit in the 2020 class and is Koonz’s second in as many days. Those of you might remember that former Ole Miss assistant Barney Farrar left Oxford and ended up at JCJC and now he is helping us from afar, sending another Bobcat to Ole Miss.
