The Ole Miss basketball program has added its second commitment to the 2021 class now that Sparta, Tenn. native Grant Slatten has verbally committed, via Twitter. The White County High School product chose the Rebels over early offers from the aforementioned Lobos of New Mexico, Morehead State, Tennessee Tech, and USF.
Despite the light offer sheet, Slatten has been running roughshod over the AAU circuit this summer with the Tennessee chapter of Elite Amateur Basketball, garnering interest from programs like Florida, Florida State, Purdue, Vanderbilt, and Virginia Tech.
As a junior at White County, the newest Rebel commit averaged 26.
