2018 SEC Indoor Track and Field Awards announced

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The Southeastern Conference on Wednesday announced its 2018 Indoor Track and Field Awards, recognizing outstanding performances during the past indoor season, as voted on by the league's 15 head coaches.

The men's award recipients include Grant Holloway of Florida (Runner of the Year); Tim Duckworth of Kentucky (Field Athlete of the Year); Damion Thomas od LSU (Freshman Runner of the Year); Johannes Erm of Georgia (Freshman Field Athlete of the Year) and Dan Waters of Alabama (Coach of the Year)

The women's award recipients include Missouri's Karissa Schweizer (Runner of the Year); Georgia's Keturah Orji (Field Athlete of the Year); Kentucky's Sydney McLaughlin (Freshman Runner of the Year); Florida's Amanda Froeynes (Co-Freshman Field Athlete of the Year); Georgia's Tara Davis (Co-Freshman Field Athlete of the Year) and Arkansas' Lance Harter (Coach of the Year).
