SEC softball is incredibly elite, with nine of the fourteen league teams ranked in the top 25 and four of the remaining five receiving votes. Yes, that means only one league team is not in the top 32 (looking at you, Vanderbilt).
The conference tournament begins Wednesday, and with it come the top 12 teams in the league teams competing for a championship. The only first round matchups of real interest are Ole Miss vs. Mississippi State and Kentucky vs. South Carolina, but in the quarterfinal, things could get interesting. Some teams are beatable, especially in a single-elimination tournament.
