Five-star Macon (MS) defensive end Jeffery Simmons made his collegiate decision on Wednesday, picking the Mississippi State Bulldogs, Alabama Crimson Tide, Ole Miss Rebels and Tennessee Volunteers.

The Noxubee County (Miss.) is the #1 overall recruit in Mississippi, the #3 overall defensive end in the country and the #19 overall player (per 247Sports' Composite Rankings. His stock rose considerably after dominating the U.S All-American Game, as he moved from a four-star recruit to a full five-star talent.
