BOSTON -- Because he said the old format had grown "stale," Wild defenseman Ryan Suter is pleased the NHL has changed its All-Star Game's format to a 3-on-3 tournament.
What he's not sold on is choosing the all-stars by division.
"That's just dumb," Suter, the Wild's lone all star last season, said. "I think it should be the best players in the league."
The Jan 31 game in Nashville, Tenn., will feature four teams composed off 11 players from each division, even though two of the NHL's divisions have one more team than the other two.
