I say yes, if only because the prospect of the Wild entering the playoffs on a string of bad results is too depressing to entertain after last season. Instead, I’ll focus on the fact that they have secured home ice for the first round of the playoffs against either the St. Louis Blues or the Nashville Predators. Promotions for a series against the Blues would write themselves with the Wild facing off against their old head coach.
