The Minnesota Wild will open the 2019-2020 regular season on Oct. 3 in Nashville against the Nashville Predators. The Wild and Predators had three games decided by one goal last year, including two games that ended in a shootout. The season opener will be nationally televised on NBC Sports Network. It will be the first of 12 games for the Wild that will be aired on NBC Sports Network. The two teams will square off again on Sunday, March 15 on NBCSN.
