Wild trade Gustav Bouramman to Florida Panthers

The Minnesota Wild announced Friday that defenseman Gustav Bouramman has been traded to the Florida Panthers for future considerations.

Bouramman was selected in the seventh round (No. 201 overall) in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft. He played parts of two seasons with the AHL’s Iowa Wild, scoring one goal and three assists in 28 career games. The 22-year-old Swede is in the final year of his entry-level contract.

After scoring six goals and 46 points in 68 games for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the OHL (not including nine points in 12 postseason games) in 2015-16, it looked as if Minnesota had a promising young defensive prospect on its hands.
