Wild Sets New Record For Average Single-Game Attendance In A Season

The Minnesota Wild set a new team record of 19,062 for average single-game attendance in a season at Xcel Energy Center, with a season-high 19,247 attending the final 2015-16 regular-season home game on April 9. Saturday’s game also marks the 600th sellout in franchise history including preseason and playoff games.

Total attendance for the 40 regular season games played at Xcel Energy Center was 762,481. Another 50,426 attended the 2016 Coors Light NHL Stadium Series Game on Feb. 21 at TCF Bank Stadium. Every regular-season home game at Xcel Energy Center was a sellout with 35 contests topping 19,000 in attendance.
