The Minnesota Wild Foundation’s annual gala, “Wild About Children” presented by West Bend, raised nearly $300,000, a new record for the event. Funds raised this year will help families with a child battling cancer or blood disorder with proceeds supporting the Cancer Kids Fund at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota and the Minnesota Wild Foundation.
The entire 2015-16 roster of Wild players traded in their jerseys for aprons to serve a sold-out crowd of over 400 guests a scrumptious winter meal. The annual event was held Monday, Nov. 23 at A’BULAE in St. Paul. The evening began with wine and hors d'oeuvres passed by Wild players serving as celebrity waiters, included silent and live auction items and the opportunity to mix and mingle with the team.
