With so many regular roster players missing due to injury and COVID protocol-related precautions, it didn’t seem like the situation could get much worse for the Minnesota Wild.
But the situation seems to be getting much worse, according to Darren Dreger of TSN:

Following Dreger’s report Michael Russo of The Athletic reported that “roughly (a) half-dozen” Wild players will be on the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol list.
