The Minnesota Wild opened training camp Thursday and their season opener is in 20 days. The Wild are coming off a season in which they missed the playoffs for the first time in six years and are looking to prove that they are still a playoff quality team.
“Every team that didn’t win is going to say it has a chip on its shoulder,” Wild coach, Bruce Boudreau said. “All I know is when they predict us to be No. 32 in a 31-team league, it might upset us a little bit.”
With a chip on their shoulder can the Wild get back to the postseason and silence their critics?
