We claimed you off of waivers in December because we had a hole at fourth line center. Our "Plan A", Tyler Graovac, had been injured for essentially the entire season, our penalty kill was a mess, and we loved your experience. Predictably you became a favorite of Mike Yeo and found yourself playing as an extra attacker in must-score situations, and you even saw some 3-on-3 overtime action. Your coach loved you, which means you're more than likely a great guy in the locker room, but unfortunately for you, and for your former coach, you can't "great guy" the puck into the opponents net.
