With two power plays in the first period, you would think that the Minnesota Wild’s first goal of the season would come off of the stick of Kirill Kaprizov or Matt Boldy. Unfortunately, the special teams for the Wild was a little discombobulated early on and they failed to cash in with the extra skater. No worries, Ryan Hartman was on the case.
That’s right, the Minnesota Wild’s first goal of the season came from their third line, and more importantly it came at 5v5.
