Do you agree with the firing of Bruce Boudreau?

Minnesota Wild general manager Bill Guerin promised more changes could be on the way if the team showed any quit after the trade of Jason Zucker. The Wild didn’t play well enough against the New York Rangers on Thursday, and Guerin wasted no time making a significant change. Bruce Boudreau has been fired after four years as head coach of the Wild, and Dean Evason will take over as interim head coach.

Guerin spoke with the media Friday afternoon to shed some light onto Boudreau’s firing.

“Even though Bruce and I have had a great relationship — I really enjoyed working with him, I learned a lot from him, I think he liked working with me — the most important thing is that the players are going into this stretch run on a high, and I felt like they just needed a different voice right now.
