Week 2 of the 2019 season is not going to go down as a pleasant memory in the career of Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins.
Cousins struggled to get really anything going for most of the afternoon on Sunday as the Vikings were unable to walk out of Lambeau Field with a victory over the Green Bay Packers. An argument could be made that this week’s matchup with the Packers was the Minnesota quarterback’s worst performance of his NFL career.
However, there were a lot of factors that played into Cousins’ struggles on Sunday that make it harder to put the results of the contest solely on the shoulders of the veteran quarterback.
