Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer and his team are well-aware of the Saints reputable offense and Drew Brees’ passing attack. And in turn, New Orleans is prepping to face an intimidating Minnesota defense at U.S. Bank Stadium Monday night.
Saints Head Coach Sean Payton said Thursday that the Vikings are “extremely good tacklers.”
“That’s from the safety position to the corner position down [through] the defense,” Payton said. “[Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer] does a great job of communicating what he is looking for. From a technique standpoint, they tackle well.
“They provide a lot of challenges in regards to the looks they give you in some of your third down and nickel protections,” Payton continued.
