MINNEAPOLIS -- The wide receiver who gained a level of notoriety from a 40-yard dash in Minneapolis is heading back home.
Terrell Sinkfield, the Hopkins, Minnesota, native who clocked a 4.19-second 40 time at the University of Minnesota's pro day in 2013, has signed with the Minnesota Vikings, according to a league source. Sinkfield had brief stints with the Miami Dolphins, Green Bay Packers, Buffalo Bills and New York Giants before heading to the CFL, where he helped lead the Hamilton Tiger-Cats to a Grey Cup appearance in 2014. The 25-year-old caught 69 passes for 1,030 yards last season, scoring six touchdowns while rushing for another 132 yards on 28 attempts.
