With the first preseason game rapidly approaching, the Minnesota Vikings have made a move to shake things up at the bottom of the secondary depth chart a little bit.
The team has announced that they have signed safety Gervarrius Owens. In order to make room for him on the roster, the Vikings have waived linebacker Max Tooley.
Owens was a seventh-round pick of the New York Giants in the 2023 NFL Draft out of Houston. He actually started his college career with the Northeastern Oklahoma A&M Golden Norsemen, which might be my new pick for the best team name in college football.
