Vikings sign Cordrea Tankersley to practice squad

In their continuing search for answers at the cornerback position, the Minnesota Vikings appear to be taking a flyer on someone that has a pretty solid pedigree but has happened upon some bad injury luck over the course of his NFL career.

The team has announced that they have signed former Miami Dolphins’ cornerback Cordrea Tankersley to the practice squad.

Tankersley was the Dolphins’ third-round pick in the 2017 NFL Draft after a successful college career at Clemson. As a rookie, he started in 11 games for the Dolphins, collecting 31 total tackles and 7 passes defended.
