Vikings reportedly want to re-sign Andrew Sendejo this offseason

Ever since they drafted Harrison Smith in 2012, the Minnesota Vikings have been looking for another talented safety to pair with him on their starting defense.

Last season, the Vikings appeared to finally find their guy in Anthony Harris. But unfortunately, Harris is a free agent this year and he’s expected to be too expensive for Minnesota to bring back.

If he doesn’t return, the Vikings could turn to the guy who Harris replaced in 2018. According to the Pioneer Press’ Chris Tomasson on Monday, Minnesota is interested in re-signing Andrew Sendejo this year and potentially putting him back in the starting lineup next to Smith if needed.
