Before landing Chris Herndon from the New York Jets, the Minnesota Vikings reportedly had trade talks with the Philadelphia Eagles to acquire tight end Dallas Goedert.
Back in 2016, the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles made a trade that sent quarterback Sam Bradford to the Twin Cities. It was a trade the Vikings felt needed to happen after losing Teddy Bridgewater earlier that year to a severe knee injury.
This year, Minnesota has found itself in another situation in which a top player has suffered a possible serious knee injury right before the start of the regular season.
