After a season filled with ups and downs, the Vikings have released their kicker, Dan Bailey. Bailey struggled at times during the 2020 season, finishing the year making just 15/22 field goals and 37/43 extra points. However, the majority of these struggles came in a two week stretch against Jacksonville and Tampa Bay in the second half of the season.
In these two games, Bailey made just 3/10 total kicks. The Vikings managed to sneak out a win against Jacksonville, but Bailey’s struggles proved to be too much to overcome against Tampa Bay as the Vikings fell 26-14 to the eventual Super Bowl champions.
